I understand that the podcast about Vincent Doan is, for some? very, very hard to listen to,and for even more harder to relive. It is clear by the massive amount of feedback that most, if not all parties involved are either firmly against Vincent Doan, or they are firm believers that Vincent Doan was railroaded .
Myself having only met Vincent 15 years ago am one of the firm believers in his innocence. I have never met a better man inside or outside these walls than Vincent . As a young man coming into a place of death, torment, and a literal Hell on earth, I was scared, although I wouldn't have admitted it. I must have had a angel looking down on me, because I was lucky enough to be place in the same housing unit as Vincent Doan.
I was lost , and he seen me for the young man I was and called me to his cell. I was worried as you never know what is about to happen. He told me to come sit down, and he ask me were I was from. I told him; I was from Southern Ohio. And he smiled and I knew with that smile he was a good guy.
For months after this initial meeting, Vincent Showed me the ropes, took me under his wing, and ask nothing in return. He drove home to me to stay away from gangs, gambling, & drugs.
He became a roll model for me, because he walked with his head held high, always had a kind word to say, and never picked on the weak . He always no matter what had a smile on his face that made everyone else around him just feel happier.
I don't know if I could have made through the first couple of years without him always there to ensure I was being a honorable man. I learned a great many things from him, that he freely gave away with no strings attached, But to me these things were priceless. I learned to always walk with my head up, shoulders back, and I learned to be kind. A kind word in a place of darkness like this can change the trajectory of a person's day. I learned to be happy in my situation, and to always have a smile on my face. Vince may not have known it, but I came to prison a kid and he taught me how to be a man, and how that man carries himself.
We are now good friends, and I have looked him in the eyes and seen him tear up at the mention of her name. When I look at him, I see a lot of things, but a killer is not one of them. If ur a person who is passing judgment on Vincent and you have never met him, I simply ask you to remove the plank from your own eye before u complain about a splinter in his.
God will judge all those just as harshly as you judge a man who was convicted on nothing but surgically pieced together circumstantial evidence . The man I know is kind, warm hearted, and father-like. He's a man I look up to, and I would lay down my life for his. Because I know he would do the same for me. If you are a listener whom is unbiased, I implore you to seek out the confusing facts, ask question, and demand answers from the people who have them.
It has come to my attention that we have people whom are clearly against Vincent whom are making false reports to Facebook trying to get any and all mention of Vincent Doan Story removed from Facebook . I have no doubt this is someone whom is starting to get nervous , Someone whom was involved in the original collusion of local and state officials. They can feel the rope tightening around them. Their lies, fabrication, and deceit is slowly starting to unravel.
What happen to Carrie was a heartbreaking tragedy and finding her killer was very important back then, but compiling tragedy upon tragedy by convicting an innocent man, this has put a black cloud over the town of Blanchester. If you live there you know what I mean. It's like a secret on the wind, a town forever on edge because most citizens of Blanchester will never be able to shake that feeling of dread knowing that the real killer of Carrie stills walks among them right now !!!!!
