About us
Hello, my name is Larry Delawder, my wife's name is Stacey Delawder, and together we created darkestsecrets to expose flaws within our criminal justice system. We have a unique approach to this because we live it firsthand.
We find cases that we believe would have had a different outcome had exculpatory evidence not been withheld. We then do extensive research and data collection to show why we believe that the case was wrongly convicted. We expose these cases to the world to show how our criminal justice system cares not for human life, and how prison has become a profit fueled industry.
The need for exposure is so great that we feel obligated to exposed the unjust prosecution and treatment of our convicted citizens. Prosecutorial misconduct is ravaging our criminal justice system, it is apparent that the prosecutors of the state of Ohio have no fear of breaking the law in order to convict citizens of this state.
My wife and I started this organization to help those without a voice, to bring awareness to the unjust and social justice issues within our criminal justice and penal systems. The criminal and civil rights violations we have found within our our institutions would mortify most. We use a collective voice backed with reason, logic, the administrative rules policies and procedures to bring awareness and resolutions to these issues within the Ohio Department of Corrections. We have realized on a whole that our criminal justice system is broken and that our correctional institutions have completely detoured from any type of rehabilitation. Our correctional institutions have become violent and drug saturated warehouses of men and women with no regards to their safety, physical, mental, or emotional health. Often the individuals who are released back into society have far greater addictions than they had at the time of their incarceration, and a criminal mindset that the correction system had no intent to change. We feel that reform is imperative. We are devoted to reform and we are theirvoice.
